Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Finance the number of EU member states that are prepared to increase national contributions to the EU budget and the Multiannual Financial Framework, MFF, 2021 to 2027 in order to increase spending for CAP; the number of member states that are against increasing national contributions to the EU budget proposed by the European Commission in May 2018; and the increased national percentage in GNI terms required for each member state to increase contributions to prevent proposed cuts to CAP post-2020.
