Deputy Pat The Cope Gallagher asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will confirm the allocation of €10,595,000 made to Donegal County Council in January 2017 by Transport Infrastructure Ireland and his Department; if he will further confirm an additional allocation of €17 million made by his Department as reported in the local press on 20 March 2017 (details supplied) for Donegal County Council including a further grant of €12 million for the N56 at Glenties; when works on the N56 phase 3 will commence in view of the additional budget announcement; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
