Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Education and Skills the ratio of senior to junior staff in academic and administrative grades by higher education institution for each year since 2010, with reference to section 9 of the revised employment control framework for the higher education sector 2010 to 2014 (details supplied); the sanctions that have been levied on institutions which have breached these ratios; if, with the lapsing of the employment control framework, these institutions are required to continue to adhere to these ratios; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
