Deputy Anne Rabbitte asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs further to her statements in Dáil Éireann on 28 May 2019 (details supplied), the area in which the additional €50 million planned to increase capacity in the childcare system is accounted for within budget 2019 as stated by her in view of the fact that the expenditure allocations outlined for 2019 and 2020 for her Department do not indicate such a funding increase is provided for within the scope of budget 2019; and if she plans to seek the additional funding through the remit of Budget 2020.
