Deputy Patrick Nulty asked the Minister for Health in relation to services and supports for persons with neurological conditions, if he will take action along the lines identified by the Neurological Alliance of Ireland to continue to invest in the Health Service Executive clinical programmes in stroke, epilepsy, neurology and rehabilitation in 2013; if he will protect funding in 2013 for not for profit organisations on which so many persons with neurological conditions are dependent for support, specialist rehabilitation and respite; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
