Deputy Louise O'Reilly asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if his attention has been drawn to whether any Irish food and drink brands were among those that tested positive for excessive pesticide residue in the recent European Food Safety Authority survey which included over 83,000 samples; if Irish brands did test positive for excessive pesticide residue, if he will release the names of those brands; the measures he has in place to ensure that such excessive pesticide residue will not occur in the future; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
