PQ 593

593. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his plans to include in the forthcoming road traffic Bill a provision to amend earlier legislation by including an appeal process for taxi workers who inadvertently missed the deadline for renewing their public service vehicle licences, in view of the fact that existing legislation does not permit such an appeal to a decision of the National Transport Authority on such a matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
