596 Deputy Paul Kehoe asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government when a review of the prescribed bodies as set out in the Planning and Development Acts 2000 to 2006 was last carried out; if, as part of the last review, he is satisfied that An Taisce is in a position, when it makes an observation on a planning permission, to deal in a fast, efficient manner with the developers of a property who may wish to deal with the issues and obtain agreement prior to submitting information which would usually be requested from the planning authorities in the form of a request for further information; if he is further satisfied that the employees of An Taisce are available and willing to meet face to face with developers in such a situation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
