Deputy John O'Mahony asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 63 of 6 November 2013, the date on which his Department put controls in place to ensure that Bus Éireann complied with the European Communities (Financial Transparency) Regulations 2004 (S.I. No. 693 of 2004), as amended, in 2006; what these controls are; the reason they are in place within his Department; if he will provide a material statement on the matter as if making a written statement under section 18 of the Freedom of Information Act; if he has no such controls, if he will give the reasons in similar manner; his plans in respect of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
