Deputy Anthony Lawlor asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport regarding the allocation of funding for local authority swimming pools, if all of the allocated funding has been drawn down to date; if there is a deadline beyond which funding not yet drawn down will be re-allocated; and if so, if he will consider the north Kildare area, in view of its young and growing population as a suitable location for a new local authority swimming pool; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
