Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Skills to outline the arrangements which will be made to accommodate a child (details supplied) in Dublin 9 with Asperger's syndrome who has been attending an autism spectrum disorder base-class since 2011 and is due to transfer to secondary school in September 2015, in view of the fact that the child's psychological assessment states that he requires a similar specialist base-class in secondary school, but the follow-on secondary school does not have sufficient places to accommodate the child; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
