51 Mr. Gogarty asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the action he intends to take on foot of an article in the New Scientist magazine quoting a UK House of Commons defence committee report which states that a large plane crashing into a UK nuclear reactor could release as much radioactivity as the Chernobyl accident in 1986, while a crash into waste tanks at Sellafield in Cumbria would cause, at worst, several million fatalities.
