Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Minister for Health in view of promised restoration of the pre-September 2012 level of funding for home help hours, if he will instruct the Health Service Executive to arrange an assessment or reassessment of the home help hours provision for all those whose hours were cut in the last quarter of 2012 with a view to restoring the withdrawn hours to the greatest number of people possible, commensurate with freshly assessed need; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
