Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Minister for Education the specific budgetary measures which she has put in place to provide for the increased energy costs for recognised schools in the free education scheme for the autumn and winter 2022/2023 school term; if she accepts that the additional capitation funding in 2022 is not sufficient to cover increased energy costs and all other running costs which have also increased due to increased inflation and the cost-of-living crisis.
