Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs if frozen Russian assets in Ireland will now be seized and utilised for war reparation purposes to compensate citizens of this State for the numerous additional costs and losses incurred by households and businesses over the last two years, and to provide further aid to Ukraine to assist that country to retain its sovereignty; if he will provide an estimated value of these assets and an estimated timeframe for the liquidation process; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
