Deputy Máire Devine asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to ensure that his Department liaises with Waterways Ireland to install public bins along the Goldenbridge Walk footpath along the Grand Canal in Dublin 8, as there are no public waste bins in this area which contributes to littering; if his Department will liaise with Waterways Ireland regarding establishment of a regular and sufficient schedule for emptying these bins; and if his Department will liaise with Waterways Ireland after a period of time to review and ensure the number of bins and emptying schedule remain sufficient.
