Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation if, in order to facilitate Dáil Éireann being able to make a properly informed decision on whether it should ratify CETA when it comes before the House, she will ensure that Ireland will immediately pursue an Article 218(11) reference to the Court of Justice under the Treaty of the Functioning of the EU to clarify the legality of the investment arbitration proposals in CETA under EU law; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
