64. Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Minister for Finance if a person, who is liable for the local property tax and has had difficult health circumstances, and in error, accepted the valuation proffered by the Revenue Commissioners initially in relation to the property, and paid same for 2013 and whereby the said valuation is way in excess and notwithstanding the opportunity for self-assessment was not availed of, due to the particular health circumstances where a person had adverse health difficulties if same will now be reviewed by way of a professional valuation and accepted; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
