Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the status of the Blackburn Bridge project located on the N15 road route approximately 1 km south of Ballybofey in County Donegal, the road safety measures in place to ensure that road users are adequately protected during the completion of phase 1, when phase 2 will proceed to construction, if he is aware of the need to expedite this project in order to enhance road safety along this road section; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
