Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Social Protection if she will urgently review the possibility of providing set 12 month extensions to the contracts of community employment and Tús workers whose contracts have or are due to expire in the coming months; her views on whether such participants should be given the opportunity to complete their course and training; and her further views on whether the current umbrella extension until June 2021 will result in mass numbers of vacancies arising on schemes which will be all but impossible to fill.
