PQ 650
650. Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Health if he is satisfied that the Health Information and Quality Authority standards in relation to emergency and ambulance services adequately measure the response time from the time of the call to the time that the ambulance arrive at the required location or if the HIQA standards just deal with the time the ambulance left its depot to go to the appropriate location which sometimes could be up to an hour away; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
