Deputy Kevin O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if she will arrange for details in the case of a person (details supplied) to be sent to the illness benefit section from a local branch of her Department; if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the information has been sought from the branch on two occasions by email but no response has issued and a person that claimed illness benefit cannot receive payment of same until the information sought has been received; and if her attention has been further drawn to the fact that the information was first sought in November 2018.
