Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the details of the back-up system for Dublin drainage in the event the pumping station in Ringsend failing or being overloaded in view of recent flooding in Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg; if his attention has been drawn to plans to upgrade or improve existing flooding drainage contingencies; and the funding which has been applied for such works in past ten years by the Dublin authorities or Irish Water.
