Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if it is accepted that a person (details supplied) made a protected disclosure relative to their employment with the Irish Prison Service; if his attention has been drawn to the findings outlined in a report (details supplied); if his attention has been further drawn to the fact that this person continues to suffer verbal abuse from his seniors in the workplace; if the recommendation or findings have been acted upon; if he will take action to protect the person in line with the commitment in the protected disclosure legislation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
