Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Minister for Education and Skills in view of problems arising from the procurement process that is now being used by Bus Éireann to secure transport contractors in the provision of transport services for children with special needs, if experience gained by transport contractors in the services provided to children with special needs should be taken into account as part of the procurement process, particularly when contracts to transport children with special needs are being procured; her plans to review the matter; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
