699 Deputy James Bannon asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the steps he will take to save more than 20 jobs at a company (details supplied) in County Westmeath which is under threat from the commencement of the N4 Downs grade separation works which has resulted in the closure of the L5026/N4 junction, resulting in the potential loss of tourist trade for this company, whereas if the entrance were maintained as entrance only for traffic coming from Dublin this business could be maintained and the jobs safeguarded as the company has been advised that this would not present a safety issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
