Deputy Eoghan Kenny asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration if he will commit that no major changes to policies affecting international education students on Stamp 2 conditions including English language education will proceed until accurate, extractable data distinguishing English language students from higher education and other Stamp 2 cohorts can be ascertained; to ensure that structured engagement has taken place with the representative bodies of the sector and an SME Test (where applicable) has been completed or a written justification provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
