Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if the commitments in the new policy for international development, One World, One Future means that Irish Aid will step up its investment in public information and engagement, through development education in view of the fact that research by Dóchas in this area has shown a gradual decline since 1995 in the proportion of the ODA budget being dedicated to development education; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
