Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Health the changes that have been made to the fees payable to general practitioners under the Financial Emergency Measures in the Public Interest Act and the percentage reductions involved; if he foresees any changes to the contract, including a reduction of the capitation fee, a fee based on actual work done and a mechanism that includes the non-payment or recoup of fees paid for those who have emigrated or plan to do so; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
