Deputy Neasa Hourigan asked the Minister for Social Protection further to Parliamentary Question No. 465 of 25 October 2022, if her attention has been drawn to the EU Strategic Framework on Health and Safety at Work 2021-2027 which stresses the importance of recognising Covid-19 as an occupational disease; if her attention has been drawn to the fact that 25 of the 27 EU member states have already recognised Covid-19 as an occupational disease, as per the EU Advisory Committee on Safety and Health at Work Agreement; if she plans to reconsider her position and ensure that Covid-19 is recognised as an occupational disease; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
