Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the reason a person (details supplied) in County Donegal was made to pay motor tax arrears for a vehicle which was off road as the owner did not have in their possession the log book to tax the vehicle, despite them contacting the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport requesting the said document on numerous occasions; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
