Deputy Gabrielle McFadden asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform his views on the concerns of the Alliance of Retired Public Servants that while legislation provides for gradual restoration of pensions from 2016 to 2018 to 65,000 public service pensioners, there is no end in sight for the remaining 25,000 pensioners who continue to have their pensions reduced under emergency powers; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
