Deputy Mick Wallace asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Question No. 58 of 8 June 2016, and his comments in respect of Ireland's commitment to United Nations sustainable development goal two, end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture, and in view of the fact that red meat is the most carbon-intensive source of protein in the world, the way the Food Wise 2025 strategy is compatible with the United Nations goal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
