Broughan asked the Minister for Education and Skills the amount of the fee to be charged for legacy educational providers to re-engage with Quality and Qualifications Ireland in order that such providers can have their quality assurance procedures approved by QQI; if a fee waiver could be put in place for community education providers wishing to re-engage with QQI; and the other options that may be open to such providers in instances where they do not have adequate funding to pay the fees being charged.
