Deputy Rose Conway-Walsh asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the reason there is no reference, aim or policy for the Irish language in the Statement of Strategy or Strategic Action Plan 2021-2023 of his Department, given that there is a commitment in the programme for Government to have a whole-of-Government approach to the protection and promotion of the Irish language; and if he will adhere to this whole-of-Government approach and to amend the Statement of Strategy and Strategic Action Plan 2021-2023 to include the Irish language comprehensively as soon as possible.
