Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) is being forced to retire at 65 years of age from the Health Service Executive when that person will only be entitled to a State pension at 66 years of age and will not be entitled to a discretionary supplementary pension from the HSE for the coming year until reaching 66 years of age; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
