76 Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if, in the planning of Ireland’s holding of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2013, consideration is being given to holding events outside Dublin, in regions such as Galway and the west, in view of the effect this move would have on both promoting the regions and in bringing the EU decision making process closer to its citizens.
