Deputy Roderic O'Gorman asked the Minister for Transport whether the Housing Activation Office or anybody with responsibility for housing delivery was consulted during the preparation of the Passenger Capacity Bill 2026 given that the DAA confirmed to the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Transport on 24 March 2026 that there is no departmental target or upper limit for growth at the airport and that capacity will be determined by airline demand; whether any assessment has been made of the additional demand that uncapped airport growth will place on water supply, wastewater treatment, and surface water drainage infrastructure in the Greater Dublin area, which Uisce Éireann has identified as capacity-constrained for new housing connections; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
