Deputy Jonathan O'Brien asked the Minister for Education and Skills the capital funding applications open to Salerno secondary school to fund the building of a multi-purpose sports and general activities hall at its site on Taylor's Hill in County Galway; if her attention has been drawn to the fact that planning permission has been granted and approved, a significant portion of funding has been raised locally and at present it has to ferry pupils to other such facilities at a great cost to the school and the Department; if there may be a possibility of joint funding a project with the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport; and if that option has been investigated by her Department.
