PQ 77

77. Deputy Tom Fleming asked the Minister for Finance if he will re-examine the requirement to have anti-money laundering identification requirements applied to the purchase of prize bonds over €25 as it is unnecessarily restrictive and will have a detrimental impact on the sale of prize bonds to customers who wish to give them as a gift to family members; if he will review this with a view to setting the limit at €100 before any requirements were applied and accept that this would be a move appropriate level; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
