Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the meaning of the programme for Government commitment with regards to the western rail corridor that no measures will be taken to prevent the future reactivation of this corridor for rail use, as set out in the McCann report; the recommendations of the McCann report being referred to; and if this commitment would preclude the development of some specific proposed projects, such as greenways.
