Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health if he is aware, and if it is acceptable, that there are approximately 250 children with scoliosis who are waiting for an operation to fix their spine or waiting to see a consultant; that many of these children have been waiting for more than 15 months for vital treatment; how he will ensure that these children who are in chronic pain are treated as soon as possible; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
