Deputy Gino Kenny asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 1051 of 24 February 2021, if the formal pricing and reimbursement assessment of xonvea has been completed and will be added as a first-line treatment for hyperemesis gravidarum to the drugs payment scheme and medical card; if there are plans to licence the drug cariban; if not, the process by which drugs obtain a licence; if the State plays an active role in identifying drugs that have been licensed and approved for use in other jurisdictions; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
