920 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs his plans to introduce legislation pertaining to Údarás na Gaeltachta to amend the situation which currently exists whereby a person can be given a grant without having to make an application for same as there is no statutory requirement on Údarás na Gaeltachta to receive a formal grant application form before payment of a grant; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
