Deputy Noel Grealish asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media further to Parliamentary Question No. 260 of 23 November 2021, if a person can qualify for a late application under the events sector covid support scheme, given that Phase 2 was open from 7 October 2021 to 21 October 2021 and was not closed on 31 August 2021 as stated in the previous response, given that this person narrowly missed the deadline as he was not aware of the second phase of the scheme opening and given the widespread cancellation of events in the past two weeks due to rising Covid-19 cases; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
