PQ 84

84. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality further to Parliamentary Question No. 140 of 12 July 2016, if she will initiate dialogue with the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation with a view to resolving, whether through legislation or any other measure, the problems caused by the fact that small limited liability companies must engage legal representation to have copyright claims heard in court, but cannot access legal aid, leading to a situation whereby it is economically impractical for such companies to vindicate their claims to copyright as costs will outstrip awards.
