Deputy Rose Conway-Walsh asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if there is a pathway for an applicant for a foreign birth registration (details supplied) to have their personal documents returned before the end of the application process given that there is currently a two-year period from the receipt of supporting documentation for processing of foreign birth registration applications and that the applicant had to submit important personal documents belonging to other persons; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
