Deputy Tony McLoughlin asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if a recently retired staff member of Waterways Ireland who worked on loughs 9 to 15 of the Shannon Erne Waterway in the Ballinamore area of County Leitrim will be replaced on a full-time basis, as the person (details supplied) who has worked on loughs 5 to 8 for over 22 years is now covering a larger area, much of which the person has no deep understanding of; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
