Deputy Kathleen Funchion asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs if consideration will be given to allowing trainee social workers complete their placement in another way in order that they can receive their qualifications and not be delayed in accessing employment as social workers are needed; and if an agreement can be reached with CORU regarding this in view of the fact it would result in social worker qualifications being processed without delay.
