Deputy Pádraig Rice asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 379 of 10 April 2026, if the allocation of four new allergy service beds will facilitate an increase in the number of food challenges that can be performed; if this new dedicated bed provision will mean that consultants will have sufficient inpatient medical support to supervise oral immunotherapy procedures safely and, where clinically appropriate, in the new national children’s hospital; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
